Part 2: The Church- United We Stand, Divided We Fall
Jesus prayed: “I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one… I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.”
John 17: 21-23
Look around with your spiritual eyes, we are in a war and the enemy is coming in like a flood but we can becertain the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19). The church has been asleep and has been compromising on biblical principles siding with the enemy for far too long. We see how much our church is at sleep by looking at the state of our individual countries and the world at large.
The ones with the real and true power in the world is the Church, it’s not the governments.
The wicked people who are governing now are dictating the evil, unrighteousness and unholiness in the land because the Church is not operating in the power and authority Jesus died to give it. All creation groans for the saints to realize and walk in their power and authority. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God (Romans 8:19).
Remember you cannot stand for God and be unholy doing ungodly things because you will be compromised, you won’t receive His protection, you have opened a door for the enemy into your house to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10) you, your family, business and all what you hold dear.
Do not be deceived, God cannot be mocked, a man reaps what he sows (Galatians 6:7), If you do something wrong, you sow a bad seed and subsequently you will reap as such. If you are truly repented in your heart, the blood of Jesus would be able to save you from a bad harvest.
The Narrow Way: Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it (Matthew 7:13-14).
The fact is that when you made Jesus Lord over your life you entered into a war where the enemy is in constant attack and siege against you and everything you love and value. We are all alive and born on this earth for such a time as this (Esther 4:14). To stand. Stand for the truth, His Word, biblical principles and stand for our God and all of His people.
Stop being constantly distracted by this world. Money, material things, secular games, social media, your cellphone, television, etc. all these things are tools the devil uses to keep you distracted from nurturing your light and the move of God that’s coming into this earth.
We are living in biblical times! Wake up! These times will be spoken of for all eternity. What will be spoken of you? What would you have contributed?
I speak to your God-given destiny right now I speak life into it for it to come alive and take over the essence of your being. Arise and wake up and take up your place in the body of Christ. You have a purpose and destiny to fulfill for God on this earth.
Ask God to show you what it is and to show you the way to fulfill it. In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:6). At the end of this blog, I’ve attached a website you can go to find out what your spiritual gifts are, check it out at the end.
Our Christian walk is one where we are to die to ourselves daily like Paul did and take up our crosses and walk with God and fellowship with Him. Spend time with Him to develop a deeper relationship with Him so you can hear Him more clearly. Reading your Bible shows you the incredible life He wants you to live, the great promises and plans He has for your life, and how much He loves you.
You cannot love and value Him if you don’t love and hate the same things He does.
Repent and realign yourselves right now and take away whatever else you are valuing more than Him. Make Jesus the center of your life again. Surrender all you say do and think to Him. Every aspect of your life,surrender it unto Him so He will make your paths straight. Humble yourself and pray and seek His face and turn from your wicked ways, then He will hear from heaven, and He will forgive our sin and will heal our land (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Don’t ever be embarrassed by what you are standing for because if anyone is ashamed of Him and His words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in His Father’s glory with the holy angels (Mark 8:38). Stand up for what you believe in.
Believe in the Bible in its entirety, you cannot believe in parts of the Bible. When you only believe in only parts of the Bible you create another Jesus that doesn’t exist.
Ephesians 1:22-23 states that God put everything under Jesus’ feet and gave Him as head over all things for the benefit of the Church and the Church is His body.
As believers in Jesus Christ, each one of us have a special part to play in the body of Christ. Paul illustrates this in 1 Corinthians 12:12-27 by telling us that there is one body, but it has many different working parts, and all are the same with Christ. God has placed each part in the body just as he wanted it to be. One part cannot say that it doesn’t belong to the body, nor can one part say to the other part that they don’t need them because Paul says that the parts of the body that seem to be weaker are the ones we can’t do without.
Paul concludes that in this way, the parts of the body will not take sides. All of them will take care of one another. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it. If one part is honored, every part shares in its joy. We are the body of Christ. Each one of us is a part of it.
The truth is, if we don’t stand with Israel, we all may fall. You cannot close your eyes, distract yourselves and pretend like this is not happening and that this does not concern you. Satan knows very well that a house divided against itself cannot stand (Matthew 12:25) that’s why he was the cause of the church splitting apart into different denominations.
This was what Paul was warning against in 1 Corinthians 1:10 when he said that in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that we all agree with one another in what we say and that there be no divisions among us, but that we be perfectly united in mind and thought. Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification (Romans 14:19).
Just as Paul did, I pray that the God who gives endurance and encouragement give us the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice we may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 15:5-6).
Let us then accept one another just as Christ accepted you in order to bring praise to our God (Romans 15:5-7) because united we stand but divided, we fall.
Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism;one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. Ephesians 4:3-6
Let us together stand and put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness (Ephesians 4: 22-24), getting rid of falsehood, unwholesome talk, all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice and let us be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you (Ephesians 4:25, 29, 31-32).
Let us finally escape the corruption in the world that leads to death and caused by evil desires so that we may participate in the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4) that leads to eternal life and above all else guard your heart for everything you do flows from it (Proverbs 4:23).
Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Let us strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace and the God of love and peace will be with us (2 Corinthians 13:11).
