Psalm 112 shows us the blessed state of the righteous. That the man who fears the Lord and delights in His commandments will be blessed and wealth and riches will be in his house. He also deals graciously and lends, and he will never be shaken.
When God blesses you and fills your cup till it’s overflowing you are now supposed to be a blessing to others as the scripture states freely you have received, freely give. Let your blessings overflow to others. God will generously provide all you need, and you will always have everything you need, and plenty left over to share with others (2 Corinthians 9:8).
The generous soul will be made rich (Proverbs 11:25). He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and He will be paid back what he has given (Proverbs 19:17). 1 Corinthians 13:3 shows us that if you give, without love it would profit you nothing. 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 tells us also that God loves a cheerful giver and he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully; give what’s in your heart and out of the goodness of your heart.
Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom, for with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you (Luke 6:38).
Galatians 6:6-10 also explains that whatever measure you sow this and this only is what you will reap and you must sow in the Spirit so that you reap eternal life and treasures in heaven. It also says, let us not get tired of doing what is good and right, for after a while we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t get discouraged and give up and whenever we can, we should always be kind to everyone, especially to our Christian brothers.
Jesus stated in Matthew 25:40 that whatever you do for the least of my brothers and sisters you were doing it to me. He who gives to the poor will not lack, but he who hides his eyes will have many curses (Proverbs 28:27). Trust in the Lord instead and be kind and good to others; then you will live safely here in the land and prosper, feeding in safety (Psalm 37:3 TLB).
