But they delight in doing everything God wants them to, and day and night are always meditating on his laws and thinking about ways to follow him more closely. They are like trees along a riverbank bearing luscious fruit each season without fail. Their leaves shall never wither, and all they do shall prosper.

Luke 16:10 (TPT) states, “The one who faithfully manages the little he has been given will be promoted and trusted with greater responsibilities. But those who cheat with the little they have been given will not be considered trustworthy to receive more.” The Lord would first test you to see what you would do with little first before He will ever give you more.
We have material wealth and spiritual wealth. How well we steward our riches on earth could determine also how much spiritual and eternal wealth we may have. We are to use our material wealth to work for us to attain eternal wealth. Wealth and riches aren’t evil but the abuse of it is.
Derek Prince said that everything in your life proceeds out from what is in your heart and when the Holy Spirit imparts God’s grace into your heart, He will direct you on how to handle your money well, and on the way God wants it handled. He also stated that liberality honors God whilst stinginess dishonors God, only putting our own needs and our own concerns before God’s kingdom dishonors God.
We are to honor the Lord with our possessions, and with the firstfruits of all our increase; so our barns will be filled with plenty, and our vats will overflow with new wine (Proverbs 3:9-10).
It’s crucial that whatever God blesses us with, we are to firstly and foremostly give Him back a tenth of what we produce (Leviticus 27:30). This one-tenth principle was given to God’s people under the old covenant of the law therefore how much more we should be giving back to God now under this new covenant of grace, peace and abundance. Malachi 3:10-12 shows us that when we bring our tithes and offerings to God’s house, He will open up the windows of heaven for us and pour out a blessing so great we won’t have room enough to receive it. He also promises to rebuke the devourer, guard and protect our blessing from the enemy.
God’s house, the place where you get your spiritual food, your bread of life, that’s where you sow your seed. When sowing your seed, it is good to sow for material or physical needs but make sure to sow for the kingdom and the spreading of the gospel in order to gain treasure in heaven- for eternal wealth.
